AMD Revolutionises Enterprise Computing: Ryzen PRO 9000 Series Brings 3D V-Cache to Workstations
AMD has expanded its commercial desktop and workstation portfolio with the launch of the Ryzen™ PRO 9000 Series processors. This lineup introduces the world’s first enterprise-grade workstation processors featuring AMD 3D V-Cache™ Technology. By drastically increasing cache capacity, these new chips accelerate performance in complex, data-intensive professional workloads.
Unprecedented Cache for Demanding Industries
The inclusion of 3D V-Cache technology marks a significant milestone for commercial computing. It addresses the massive memory bandwidth demands of modern technical applications across three primary industries:
  • Architecture, Engineering, & Construction (AEC): Speeds up complex 3D modeling, Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, and real-time architectural visualizations.
  • Media & Entertainment: Enables real-time 4K/8K video editing, faster rendering/encoding times, and fluid compositing workflows, especially when paired with AMD Radeon™ PRO graphics.
  • Manufacturing & Design: Accelerates heavy 3D CAD software, structural simulations, and mechanical design iterations to shorten overall development cycles.
Flexible Configurations and Enterprise Security
The Ryzen PRO 9000 Series scales from six to 16 cores with thermal design power (TDP) profiles up to 170 watts to maintain sustained peak performance under continuous load. Beyond raw speed, the processors integrate seamlessly into the standard AMD PRO platform. This ensures IT departments receive enterprise-grade security layers, modern remote manageability tools, and long-term platform stability.
