MIUI 11 Global Stable ROM Update Rolling Out !

Xiaomi, India’s number one smartphone and smart TV brand, today announced the much-awaited Redmi Note 8 series of smartphones along with MIUI 11. With a multitude of world firsts, including a quad-camera setup, the Redmi Note 8 series looks to disrupt the smartphone segment all over again.

We are extremely excited to launch our 64MP Quad camera beast – Redmi Note 8 Pro sets a benchmark for gaming and imaging with the world’s first 64MP camera sensor and Helio G90T chipset.”

He added, “Not just that, we have taken the game forward with MIUI 11 with an even more enhanced user experience, the uber cool Dark Mode and an upgrade across several high utility apps.and features. We are especially thrilled about the Mint Keyboard on MIUI built especially for our Indian Mi Fans, supporting over 25 Indian languages.”

MIUI 11 significantly upgrades the design element and brings a new set of refined features with a visually enhanced interface with Dark Mode.  MIUI 11 makes efficient use of AMOLED screen capabilities and brings new customisations to the popular Always-on display. MIUI 11 also introduces new dynamic ambient nature sounds for notifications; this innovative ambient sound effects feature has won the prestigious Red Dot design award, an industry first for smartphone software.

Xiaomi also announced the Mint Keyboard for MIUI users, which supports over 25 Indian languages currently. MIUI 11 also brings several utility features such as wireless file sharing, wireless printing, working with documents, and managing tasks which are all available out-of-the-box now. In addition, the new step counter, period tracker, and calculator help make routine tasks convenient.

Stable MIUI 11 will be rolled out in a phased manner starting with Redmi K20, POCO F1, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 7, and Redmi Y3 starting October end. Other models will be upgraded later in the year; the rollout plan will be updated on Mi Community (c.mi.com).
